One of my favorite books and what probably triggered my life long love of science fiction was A Wrinkle in Time. I think it was the first book that really opened my eyes to worlds were possible outside of Nancy Drew (who is still awesome). I think this is such a great young adult book that said it was okay to be different and think differently than others.
