Grew up watching people walk on the moon, staring through telescopes, and having passionate debates about pretty much anything with my dad and brother. Parochial school (influenced by a very skeptical Jesuit), public high school, studied science, history and business in college, project management and business analysis since then. Work has included successful lemonade stands as a kid, retail as an older kid, paralegal, dial-up ISP owner, business/management consultant as a grown-up — a bit undecided, perhaps. Voracious consumer of science fiction, fantasy, popular science, history, biography, Shakespeare, strategy games, and role playing games. Parent of one daughter in whom I’m trying to inspire the wonder and optimism *I* felt watching people walk on the moon.
