    Despite no verification, the system has been cheerfully sending me emails to tell me that I've made posts.

    However, the links in these posts are not structured in a way that would ever cause them to work if you clicked on them:

    For instance, for a recent post, this is the URL emailed to me: "http://forum/topic/632".
