Kathryn CramerKathryn Cramer is an author, critic, artist and photographer, as well as a respected anthologist of short fiction, with a particular focus on hard science fiction. Kathryn is a co-editor for the Hieroglyph Project and our in-house expert on the mysterious worlds of genre fiction and publishing.

Kathryn co-edited the Year’s Best Fantasy and Year’s Best Science Fiction anthologies with David G. Hartwell. She also co-edited a number of notable historical anthologies with Hartwell, including The Space Opera Renaissance, The Hard SF Renaissance and The Ascent of Wonder. She is a consultant for the antiquarian bookseller L.W. Currey, Inc., and for five years consulted for the Scientific Information Group at Wolfram Research, a mathematical software company.
